Development & licensing
How we work.
We develop the application around your requirements. A written agreement defines delivery, ownership and licensed use.
The process
From requirements to a tailored application.
01
Requirements
Discuss your workflows, existing systems and the business challenge the application needs to address.
02
Technical scope
Define the application, integrations, data responsibilities and commercial terms in a written agreement.
03
Development
Build the customised application against the agreed scope and operational requirements.
04
Review and acceptance
Review the work against the acceptance criteria and process agreed for your project.
05
Deployment and licensed use
Deploy under the agreed arrangements. Your licence defines how your enterprise may use the application.
06
Support and maintenance
Agree any support, updates, maintenance and renewal arrangements in the contract; no standard service levels are promised here.
The agreement
What a licence sets out.
- Application scope and permitted use
- What is developed, who may use it and the environments or business operations the licence covers.
- Ownership and rights
- Switch Labs retains its core framework and component IP. Rights in project-specific work and third-party materials are defined separately.
- Term and commercial terms
- Licence duration, fees, renewal and termination arrangements for the engagement.
- Deployment and ongoing responsibilities
- Hosting, data handling, documentation and any agreed support or maintenance commitments.
Your application. Clearly defined rights.
Switch Labs retains ownership of its core frameworks and components and licenses the customised application to your enterprise. The contract distinguishes these rights from client data, project-specific work and third-party materials. This website offers no public accounts or consumer services.
